Cheese Importers Association Golf Classic

Thanks to our Sponsors

CIAA members joined their colleagues and customers for a day of golf in the California sunshine, at the CIAA Golf Classic on June 2, 2007. Eighty-eight golfers took part in the scramble tournament held at the Coyote Hills Golf Club the Saturday before the IDDBA conference.

Regardless of their level of play, everyone had a fantastic day.

Congratulations to the first place team of John Holdway, Steve DelBonis, and Bob Muchler who are pictured here with a Harley Davidson (the hole in one prize) on hole #14. While no one took home the Harley, Kudos to Phil Marfuggi who had a hole in one on a previous hole!

Finishing in second was the team of Staffan Juelsson, Sid Solomon, Rick Seegmiler and Paul Blake.

We have many sponsors to thank for making this event possible including:

Platinum sponsor: Finlandia Cheese

Gold Sponsors: Jana Foods, Great Lakes Cheese, The Ambriola company, MCT Dairies and Arla Foods.

Silver Sponsors: AV Olsson, EMMI, Atalanta, World Wide Sales, Irish Dairy Board, Best Cheese Corp., Pacific Cheese and Norseland.

Tee Sponsors: Schreiber Foods, B&A Brokers, All-Ways Forwarding, JP Hansen, and Hole in one sponsor - MCT Dairies.

Following the tournament, the guests enjoyed a cocktail party sponsored by Dairy Vale and Mil El, followed by a buffet dinner.

Thanks also to all who contributed to the the golf goodie bags:
