The Imported Cheese Board is excited to hold its second virtual educational seminar, “Imported Cheese – 101” which will focus on AOP/PDO and what it means. The seminar will take place on Wednesday, June 29th from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM ET. This complimentary seminar is designed to educate and inspire those without a broad knowledge of cheese. The program will include the history and purpose of cheese making, in addition to a discussion on the PDO/AOP concept and what this means regarding milk composition and cheese production.
Participants will learn the nuances of four different cheeses and have the opportunity to taste each one during a special tasting. The selection of cheeses will be shipped to each of the participants in advance of the seminar, along with a cutting board, note pad, and cheese knife.
Due to the interactive nature of the seminar, we need to limit the number of participants to 70. We will accept registrations on a first-come, first-served basis until the class is full.
